I remember well the occasional visits of Pam and of course Hilda to us in Ewell when growing up. Always so lively and cheerful, always beautifully dressed, and pleased to see us all. Pam and Dad (Ernest) had common connections in the shipping industry and I remember much comparing of notes. And much interest in Caroline and my developing musical interests.

Joan and I met Pam along with Hilda in the summer of 1980. Their brother Peter and his family had been Swan family friends for 2 generations and it was a pleasure to extend that friendship to his sisters. We will miss Pam as we have Hilda and Peter and Mary. Our thoughts and love go out to all the Wards.

I will always remember Auntie Pam as a lovely, kind and welcoming presence in my life with a smile which you couldn't help but smile back at. My great auntie Pam was a big part of our lives, along with with auntie Hilda. My brother and I spent a lot of time with them both when we were younger on our school summer breaks, the best time being when they bought me a huge Knickerbocker glory! I can still picture it now.
I feel very lucky to have had Auntie Pam in my life, and for my son to have met her. She was always so generous and her family meant the world to her. I will miss her a lot, but I'm also grateful she is now able to rest peacefully. Love you Auntie Pam xxx
